I’m gonna say this outright: I don’t know much about watercolor.
It’s like, the medium is fun, and I’ve watched a bunch of Youtubers and Skillshare classes about it, but it feels like my touch isn’t quite delicate enough to truly do well with it. I also haven’t practiced nearly enough. That latter bit probably weighs more.
In this piece, I used a mix of watercolor and some watercolor pencil (to get the lighter pink). I also used a reference photo from Unsplash. Overall, it’s one of my favorite little watercolor sketches that I’ve done. I really ought to pick it back up again.
